You will receive confirmation and updates by email. If you haven’t received any emails after a few days, please check your ‘Spam’ or ‘Junk’ folders to make sure our emails haven’t been put there by your email provider.
Because we have had cancellations at short notice without payment, we now send out invoices as soon as we confirm your booking. Please pay your invoice within seven days to secure your booking.

Hilderstone Village Hall is a charity not a business.
It’s owned by the residents of Hilderstone Civil Parish.
It’s run by an elected committee of volunteers on behalf of the residents.
We only pay the caretaker.
The committee was set up in 1949 so it could build and run a community hall for the social and educational benefit of the residents and the surrounding area.
So when you hire this community venue, it isn’t a typical commercial customer/supplier relationship. It’s more like you becoming a part of our community venture.
While your event is naturally important to you, you have to fit in with everything else that goes on – our calendar shows what other events are on before and after yours.
If you’re happy to continue, please do but remember that we are volunteers doing our best for our village hall. We need you to respect us and our facilities.
When you use the hall, please make sure that your guests park sensibly so that our neighbours can still get into and out of their properties.
